Members, shareholders and/or owners of the organisation: EENet is a public institution operating under the administration of the Ministry of Education.
Brief description of the governing structure: The operation of EENet is managed by the Director, who is assigned by the Minister of Education. EENet has the following structural units: Customer Service, Network Development and Technical Department and local service centres.
The Board of EENet, consisting of the representatives of educational, research, cultural, governmental and other institutions, is counselling the operation of EENet.
Number of clients: 611
Remarks: As a state-owned institution EENet offers its services to educational, research and cultural establishments located in Estonia.
The other important requirement is that the establishment must refrain from commercial activities in the educational and research network.
