  19. UNI-C is part of the Danish Ministry of Education, the research network, Forskningsnettet is a legal entity of its own, with the Governing body appointed by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.
  20. The Danish Ministry of Science,Technology and Innovation has the overall political responsibility. They have nominated a committee, named Styregruppen, which is the governing body of the NREN. The committee has members from a number of the largest user organisations.

    The daily management is performed by a secretariat named Netsekretariatet.
    The operation of the network is managed by UNI-C.
