The NIIF Programme is executed/co-ordinated by the NIIF Institute (NIIFI), an organisation operating under the umbrella of the government.

The NIIF Programme is governed by a Programme Committee, consisting of high level officers of the participating ministries and some other bodies, including the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. The NIIF Programme Committee operates also a Technical Committee.

No remarkable change in the user base is forecasted.
