  19. We are a research institution belonging to the Ministry of Higher education and scientific research.
  20. The NREN is managing by the Networks Division of the CERIST and the decision for each program is prepared and proposed by the Networks Divsion of CERIST and submitted to the Ministry for approval.

  35. The new backbone for the next 3 years is under deployment starting at November 2010. This backbone will permit to upgrade capacities of ARN PoPs from STM1 to STM4 and GigaEthernet. Big and medium Universities will upgrade to 100M. Small ones, High schools and research centres to 10M. The number of PoPs will increase from 3 PoPs to 10 PoPs.
