Head of the SigmaNet reports to the director of the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Latvia (IMCS UL), which reports in some cases to the rector of the University of Latvia.
Members are those who can and want to be connected to the GEANT2.

We would appreciate it if you would be able to give us a short description of major changes that occurred in your network during the past year or that you foresee for the coming year (structural changes, changes in your mandate or remit, major technology upgrades, changes in the user base, etc.)
No major changes have happened to SigmaNet in the last year. The GEANT connectivity was upgraded to 2,5Gbps, but due to pure economic situation in the country it could be reduced to 1,25Gbps in 2009.
F37. We would be interested in receiving your feedback, both regarding the Compendium 2008 and this questionnaire. Both general comments and specific comments (e.g. about questions that you found difficult to understand or to answer or of limited value) would be appreciated.
For some questions some logical answer options are missing or answer form is wrong.
E.g. D7 - our CERT is both member of TI and FIRST - we cannot mark both.
Or D8 - what if there is no AAI or no global AAI?
