F19. Please briefly describe the governing structure of your NREN
(in terms of members, governing body, decision making process, etc.)
GARR is composed by all subjects representing the Italian Academic and Scientific Research Community.
The main governance of GARR is the Board of directors, which is composed of the President and six members appointed by CNR, ENEA, INFN and Fondazione CRUI on behalf of the Italian Universities. For all technical and scientific evaluations GARR refers to a Technical and Scientific Committee composed by 9 members. The management of GARR is headed by a Director.

The daily operations and management of GARR is done by "Direzione GARR", whose organisational structure is described in:
