  13. Currently, there is no interconnection amongst institutions. But this is likely to change towards the end of the coming year. A couple of things are happening in the environment that are going to influence this. First, the country is building a national data backbone covering places where many of our members are located. The government has "promised" that RENU might get an opportunity to leverage this infrastructure for free. Second, a number of undersea cables will be landing at Mombasa in Kenya (Uganda is land-locked), given that we already have a donation of fiber to the coast, a lot of things are going to change
  14. This might not be of interest to old NRENS, but new ones like us would like to learn what kind of services established NRENS are putting their networks to. I know I could look around and find this information, but it would be nice if it is presented within the context of the compendium.
