    4. The highest governing body of LITNET is the LITNET Board whose structure and regulations are confirmed by the Ministry of Science and Education in Lithuania. The LITNET Board coordinates the development and the management of the network.

    11. During the past few years we made these major changes in our network:
      - Installed our own optics in backbone links.
      - Upgraded our backbone devices to support 10Gbit connectivity.
      - In some parts of our backbone network installed DWDM equipment.
      - Offered IPv4 multicast service for users.
      - Offered IPv6 service for users.
