6.26 Short description of major changes that occurred in the network during the past year or that are foreseen for the coming year:
We replaced all our routers and lines during the past 8 months. We replaced all campus routers with 7206VXR NPE-G1 routers, and we replaced our two core routers with Cisco 7613 routers.

All national E3/T3 lines were replaced and we now have primarily Gigabit Ethernet links as the primary link to each campus, ranging in speed from 100-450Mb/sec. Backup links are primarily STM1 (155Mb/sec) links.

Our connection to GN2 was upgraded from dual STM1 links to dual STM4 links. In addition, the GN2 POP was moved to the Med-1 colocation site where we have a Gigabit Ethernet cross-connect to GN2.
