Management board of MARNet consists of 8 members: 5 appointed by the rector, 1 appointed by the Ministry of Research and Education, 2 others appoint by two other universities.

6.26 Short description of major changes that occurred in the network during the past year or that are foreseen for the coming year:
MARNet has built its own 20km optic infrastructure in Skopje metropolitain area connecting 6 major campuses, as well as a wireless network. International connectivity is upgraded from 4 to 34 mpbs and from 1 Jan 2007, 68 mbps is expected. Significant role is deiven to MARNet in the national eMacdeonia strategy and strategy for modernisation of the educational system adopted by national parliament. Fiber optic connectivity is foreseen for connectivity to other two major university towns Bitola and Tetovo.
