Governing structure	With a joint decision of May 2002, the Ministry of Education and Science and the Academy of Sciences of Albania created a Managerial Board (co-chaired by the Minister of Education and Science and the Chairman of Academy of Sciences) and a Technical Board with representatives from main academic institutions. The role of these Boards is to organise and co-ordinate actions for creation of ANA.
