Involvement in cctld or domain names: ACOnet has been fully responsible for the administration of the Austrian cctld until 30 June 1998, when responsibility has been handed over to a new registry organization (NIC.AT) which has been set up by the Austrian ISP Association. Since then ACOnet operates the technical infrastructure of the domain registry on behalf of NIC.AT.
