Proceedings from TNC 2010 are available for download

TERENA is pleased to release the proceedings from the TERENA Networking Conference (TNC) 2010. Fourteen papers presented in TNC 2010 parallel sessions have been selected for this publication. The theme of the conference was 'Living the network life' - how virtual organisations and new forms of collaboration have reshaped the nature of our interactions and the implications of these changes on networks in the research and education community. Delivering on today's users' requirements means constantly evolving the network infrastructure with new network technology, network management and network concepts.

“Living the network life often brings satisfaction, through technology innovation, leading to improvement of usages and thus new opportunities for the benefit of education, research and social life,” writes TNC 2010 programme committe chairperson Jean-Paul Le Guigner, CRU, France, in his guest editorial. “Networking also keeps creating new challenges, new requirements, new preoccupations...”

Available for download, the papers cover a wide range of topics related to living the network life: Grid computing, identity and access management, and supporting infrastructure including networking beyond Europe and advanced applications.
