Call for Posters for TERENA Networking Conference 2010
Students present posters at TNC 2009.

Proposals for poster presentations for TERENA Networking Conference 2010 (TNC 2010) are cordially requested by the Programme Committee. Proposals can be submitted by sending a short abstract of 100 to 250 words by email, before the end of Friday, 30 April 2010.

Poster presentations are less formal than regular presentations, are more interactive and can provoke various points of view. They are ideal for sharing ideas that are shorter than a conference paper, of interest to fewer people, or which are best communicated graphically. Poster presentations on all subjects relevant to the spirit and objectives of the conference are welcome. Selected posters will be displayed in an area close to the parallel sessions and on the conference website.

More information about submitting poster presentation proposals is now available.

Sponsored Student Poster Places

Students from relevant fields are also invited to submit a proposal for a poster presentation before the end of Friday, 30 April 2010. Eligible students who meet the selection criteria and present a poster at TNC 2010 and online will receive free admission to the conference, with sponsorship by Cisco Systems, Inc. The best student poster will receive an award at the end of the conference.

TNC 2010 Theme: "Living the Network Life"

In the past few years, the paradigms of the research and education community have been challenged by emerging trends such as media and content delivery, e-learning and e-research. Moreover, virtual organisations and new forms of collaboration have changed the nature of our interactions and the role of our network identities. TNC 2010 will focus on the technologies and applications involved in this change. The full preliminary programme is now available online.
