You can still register for TNC 2007 with payment by credit card. Registration for the conference with payment by bank transfer or bankers' guaranteed cheque has now closed.

After 11 May, only desk registration is possible for a higher fee (on site in Lyngby).

The TERENA Networking Conference 2007 will be hosted by UNI•C, The Danish IT Centre for Education and Research. Hotels and social events will be situated in Copenhagen and the conference will held at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), located in Lyngby just north of Copenhagen.

The conference programme is composed of four tracks of talks by invited speakers and presentations of selected papers. Each day, there will be a plenary session in which prominent experts will deliver keynote presentations.

2007 Keynote Speakers

  • Katherine Richardson, University of Copenhagen opens the conference with a talk on "Global Change and the Ocean", a study dedicated to developing a better understanding of the role of the global ocean in the removal of CO2 from the atmosphere and is carried out as part of the Danish Galathea Expedition.
  • On Tuesday morning, Kevin Almeroth, University of California at Santa Barbara, USA and Jun Murai, Keio University, Japan share the podium for a plenary session. Kevin Almeroth will speak about "The Three Ghosts of Multicast: Past, Present, and Future" and Jun Murai will explain "The New Age of the Internet: Challenges for the New Requirements".
  • The podium is again shared on Wednesday morning, with Claudia Natanson, Diageo, United Kingdom asking the question and giving us her answer to the question "Security Awareness at Board Level.....Myth or Reality?", and Otthein Herzog of TZI and MRC, University of Bremen, Germany, speaking on "The Future of Mobile Computing".
  • Max Ibel, Google Switzerland closes the conference on Thursday giving us an an inside look at "The Google File System".
