FIRST Training: Incident Coordination - Room 301

Time: Two sessions will be offered - please only register for one of them:
Morning Session (09:00-12:00) - closed for registration
Afternoon Session (13:00-16:00)
Description:
This session is focused on coordination tasks for major security incidents. We cover how to handle incidents with CSIRTs as well as how to coordinate incident responses with external entities such as law enforcement, vendors, and other organizations.

Showcases how to collaborate with sources to compile information crucial for addressing incidents. We also cover how to work with open-source intelligence and information-exchange protocols.

CSIRT Maturity Kit expert meeting - Room 112

Time: 09:00-16:30
Description:
GFCE sponsored meeting on the work topic of CSIRT Maturity. Full day plus dinner, invitation only, meant for CSIRT experts from the TF-CSIRT, FIRST and GFCE communities. The goal of this meeting is to discuss the CSIRT Maturity Kit (see check.ncsc.nl), identify areas that need further work, and solicit volunteers to work on those areas. This meeting is being prepared right now in order to make it more effective. Invitation and preparations will go out soon. Any questions: e-mail to Don Stikvoort.

Trusted Introducer 101 - Room 347

Time: 09:00-12:00
Description:
The "TI 101" is a half-day presentation and workshop especially for members of TI teams that would like to better understand the offered TI services and how to interact with the TI services. To effectively participate in the workshop part it is necessary to have a computing device available with a X.509 user certificate from TI, as this certificate protects the access to almost all TI services.
Some of the issues that will be discussed:
- access to the restricted self-service
- update of team's information
- adding new team members

CZ.NIC Workshop: What can be done with a powerful SOHO router? Insight to Turris - Room 347

Time: 13:00-15:00
Description:
Deeper presentation of Turris router. The initial idea of development the router was to provide home router with enough power to provide an extra security. After 2000 routers were distributed to households all around Czech republic we have decided to develop less expensive version with enough performance to fulfil enhanced security functions - Turris Omnia. Presentation will take us to the roots of Turris hardware development and the reasons why was Turris OS forked from OpenWRT. We will also show to what extent it is configurable from the network point of view and IoT. Last but not least we will describe what type of data outcomes we get from routers.
