TF-AACE Workshop


What is TF-AACE

TF-AACE is an acronym to indicate the TERENA task force working on Authentication and Authorisation. This Task Force has been established on 1 May 2002 and it will operate for the next two years. Further information about TF-AACE are available at TF-AACE web page.

First AA Workshop

In order to disseminate the results of the task force, two workshops are foreseen. To promote the cooperation among Nordic countries and TERENA AAA activity, the first TF-AACE workshop will held on 26th and 27th of November in Bromma, Stockholm SWEDEN. The workshop will end on 27th at 13.00.
Following the TF-AACE workshop, on 27th and 29th there will be the GNOMIS workshop.
The next TF-AACE workshop will be arranged in October 2003.

  • 11.00 "International Issues and Opportunities", Ken Klingenstein, Internet2. Ken Klingenstein led a discussion to draw some conclusions and get some inputs for future activities.
    David Chadwick' EC PERMIS presentation. This presentation has been given few days later the TF-AACE workshop, but it is important as it shows how the PERMIS authorisation system works and can be integrated with any authentication system (PKI, A-select, CAS, PAPI etc.) to provide the policy based authorisation decision making.
