Gentlemen,
let me to not share your ideas. 

Collaboration tools have as one of the outputs streaming. That's fact. In
same case we may need to interfere with TCP/IP lower layers, web and other
very relevant things. I'm sure we can't solve all the problems in our WG,
and I really want to have it very focused.

For me, the optimal status is having TWO working groups that have some
"points of contact". Transcoding shall be one of the points as well as
recorded content management is other.

I've been (and I am) in some of very "broad" projects that have
collaboration and Media together and I really do not want to do this error
again. Sorry for bad news.
