Hi
In response to the message of Juan Quemada
I am going to try to give my opinion about this. Our experience is that
increasingly there is a more communication between videoconference
and/or colaboration tools systems and
Production/Distribution/Publication system. In many cases the Production
using a videoconference systems like source and many other the
videoconference systems using streaming to complete the
videoconference.
I think that more and more systems will appear linking the two
technologies synchronous and asyncrhonous. These systems should support
all chain. Now these worlds are separated but soon will be the same (I
hope).
For example we have using: AdobeConnect, ConferenceXP, ISABEL like
source for our multimedia content streaming production and vice versa.
The problem with this are:
- the recording format is not a standard streaming in many cases
- they don't have a cataloging and publication system (IP-TV portal) to
automate all proccess
- .......
I send you some examples of this interrelationship
