Just for the native English speaking point of view, the word
'production' in the sentence below does indeed imply creating new
content, editing and publishing. To describe the technical aspects of
transportation, distribution, AAI etc I would suggest the word
'delivery' as a replacement, which is a bit broader.

Of course context is really important in English, so it would heavily
depend on the sentences before and after it as well :)
