The definition of the boundaries of the "big boxes" of the Media workflow is a very
interesting topic.

We use to call "production" to all the jobs and equipment needed to
"create" a master copy + basic metadata.

When "production" ends you will have something to throw in the inbox
of the media management system

In an automatic production environment it could include from the
schedule of captures, the AV setup of the room, SW and HW of the
capture devices, etc ...

In a manual production scenario it could also include: schedule of
recordings, equipment and workers management, SW and HW for recording
and in my opinion some manual post-production.

I think that in professional broadcast environments the idea is not
exactly the same.

This discussion could be part of task C, isn't it ?
