Title: Eduroam on a Sydney Harbour boat and Shark Island for APAN29! Dear All
A quick note to confirm that during the APAN29 conference, AARNet successfully provided eduroam access on a boat on Sydney harbour and on Shark Island (no power available) for the delegates.
This was possible thanks to Queensland University of Technology who generously provided their eduroam-in-a-box solution (wifi-3G) and the use of a good UPS battery backup that was in use for 4 hours with 52% battery remaining!
Best Wishes
