Hi Dick,
The AP1231G is (iirc) a model with 802.11g radio; it should be able to
do WEP, WPA and WPA2. If it has a 802.11b radio then a radio upgrade is
required. We're still experimenting with supporting multiple encryption
types on the same SSID (which is a pain with various client devices); if
you want a WPA or WPA2 only config, I can give you the details.
