JENC8 was organized by TERENA, the Trans-European Research and Education Networking Association, and hosted by UKERNA, with local assistance from the University of Edinburgh and Concorde Services Limited.
A selection of the papers presented at JENC8 were published in a special
issue of "Computer Networks and ISDN Systems" (Volume 29 (1997) Number 15), a highly regarded publication from
Elsevier Science.
