The eduroam administration training will take place in Zagreb, hosted by University Computing Centre - SRCE (marked with an 'S' on the map below).

How to get there

Please consult this map for indications on how to get there (On this map SRCE is marked with an 'S'). SRCE have also produced their own webpage describing how to get there.

From the Hotel Arcotel to the SRCE

  • Take the tram no 4. (direction "Savski most") - the tram stop is near the Hotel on Draskoviceva Street.
  • Get-off (about 10-15 minutes if there are no major traffic problems) at the tram stop; you can choose between two stops: "Vjesnik" or "Prisavlje" , both marked with red dots on the map
  • From the tram stop, you need to walk a maximum of 10 minutes to get to the SRCE building (consult the map); SRCE building is white and brown and it is near the new, big, black building. Entrance is on the northern side (the mountain is to the North).

From the Airport to the SRCE

You can either take a taxi (not the cheapest way) or use the bus service and ask the driver to stop near National and University Library (immediately after crossing the bridge over the river Sava). The bus stop is marked with the blue dot on the map; from the bus stop to the Srce you have no more than 10 minutes walk (please consult the map; have in mind that the mountain is to the North)

From any other place in the city to SRCE

  • Consult the public transportation map
  • You need to take one of the tram lines 4,5,14 or 17 and take off at stops "Vjesnik" or "Prisavlje"

Please email or fax the following details to Laura:

  1. Name and surname
  2. Name of requested hotel (see options below)
  3. Date and time of your arrival
  4. Date of your departure
  5. Type of room required (double / single / smoking etc)

To confirm your request for hotel reservation, you have to fax Laura a photocopy of your credit card.

TERMS OF BOOKING - In case you don't cancel your arrival in time (48 hours prior to arrival) you will be charged for the first night of your reservation on your credit card. Reservations can be made until 28.08.2008. - after that the agency has to check your request with hotel directly. Payment will be made on check out at the hotel reception.
