Collaboration on Storage Services
This series of meetings began in June 2006, where it was suggested that there might be opportunities for collaboration among NRENs for data storage.
There are a great deal of issues to discuss related to data storage, including data retention legislation, privacy laws, disaster recovery, access control, best practice and many more areas which deserve further investigation.
Based on the initial discussions the TF-Storage was formulated in February 2008.
