TF-PR
The public relations task force (TF-PR) promotes the quality and quantity of public relations and information dissemination about research and education networking in Europe, through collaboration between research and education networking organisations in at the level of PR Manager / Information Officer.
On 18 Sep 2003, the TERENA Executive Committee accepted the Terms of Reference for a non-technical TERENA Task Force, TF-PR. On 24 Sep 2007, the TEC confirmed a further two year mandate for TF-PR.
The aims of TF-PR are:
* to promote the quality and quantity of public relations and information dissemination about research and education networking in Europe, among others by collecting information and providing materials that can be used in the PR activities of research and education networking organisations;
* to enable the exchange of ideas, experiences, methods and techniques to improve the communications of research and education networking organisations with organisations and individuals that use their services and with other relevant organisations.
