Sensor and Mesh Networks

Aim of this work item
Sensors are making their way into campus networks, bringing a range of new
applications. However, there are also challenges such as the fact that sensors do not
often have a lot of processing power and need to be energy efficient. This activity will
look at the risks and challenges introduced by bringing nodes with less capacity onto the
secure network, and automatic creation of ad-hoc and mesh networks to reach remote
locations.
