Managing Monitoring and Abuses

This working area focused on the monitoring of the eduroam infrastructure in particular concerning the RADIUS servers.
The following tasks are being undertaken in this area:
- RADIUS Monitoring - This task looked into RADIUS servers availability, the way the authentication is performed over the RADIUS infrastructure and the end-2end monitoring.
- RADIUS Management - Aim of this task was to provide some guidelines about RADIUS configuration and accounting.
Deliverables produced
The work in this area is still ongoing. Some material is available on the TF-Mobility wiki.
CESNET developed a tool to allow for end-to-end tests on the whole eduroam infrastructure in Czech Republic. The tool tests all realm against all RADIUS servers. For more information on the tool and how to use it, please refer to Jan Tomášek's presentation.
