2nd Workshop: Connecting Schools to NRENs

Session A

3 case studies about particular countries were presented. The speakers went in depth about their solutions, to explain who is doing what, who is paying for what and what is not as good as it should be.

Splitting into two groups:

B1 - technical group

B2 - management/funding/political group

These groups brainstormed about success factors and problems faced as well as tried to identify some areas for more concrete collaboration.

Summary
This session heard the results of the parallel sessions with a view to identifying the wider issues that NRENS have about connecting schools to the internet.
