3rd NGN Workshop
The 3rd NGN Workshop was held on 23 February 2009 in the Congress Hall at Prague Airport, Czech Republic.
This workshop was intended to be informational, and aimed to bring together people from NRENs, vendors, regional networks, and academic institutes to discuss currently-evolving lower-layer issues. The programme covered next-generation wireless, 3.x/4G mobile, and satellite networking amongst other technologies. These are developments that are becoming increasingly interesting to research and education networks, but about which there is limited knowledge within the community.
