Practical session about shibboleth
(Nathan Klingenstein, Internet2 with the support of, John Paschoud, Thomas Lenggenhager and Bart Kerver)
This session, which could be called shibboleth intensive, is a basic view into Shibboleth internals and flows, install issues, configuration issues, IdP and SP plumbing features, development roadmap etc. The session will be ppt and lots of on-line displays. At the end of the session, attendees should have a much easier time installing and configuring Shibboleth, connecting local directories to the attribute authority, reworking local applications to use federated identity and attributes, deciphering log files, etc. They should also understand how Shibboleth will evolve, integrate with Microsoft and other products, and how to federate.
