Venue and hotel
The InterContinental Jordan hotel in Amman, Jordan, was the venue for the second EU-Med Event. A limited number of rooms in the hotel have also been reserved at a discounted rate for EU-Med Event participants. In order to guarantee a reservation, please book early. To get a discounted rate, use the booking form and send it back to the hotel by 20 October 2008 at the latest.
DISCOUNTED ROOM RATES:
Single rooms: 105 JD (plus taxes)
Double rooms: 115 JD (plus taxes)
NOTE: Check in time is from 14:00 and check out is by 12:00 noon. Any early check in or late check out is subject to availability and will be charged at 50% of the daily rate. If you cancel confirmed room reservations within 2 weeks of the event you will be charged for 1 full night per room. If you depart before your booked check out date you will be charged for the remaining nights. In case of 'no show' the hotel will charge for all booked nights per room.

Visas
There are no visa requirements for citizens of Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.
Citizens of Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Lebanon and EU countries can get a visa in the airport.
Passports must be valid for at least 6 months.
