Bert van Pinxteren (Chief Administrative Officer)

Bert van Pinxteren joined TERENA in September 1998 and is responsible for the day-to-day financial and legal affairs of the Secretariat. He also provides support for the General Assembly and Executive Committee, and has overall responsibility for organisation of the annual TERENA Networking Conference (TNC). Bert is also the Chief Editor of the TERENA NREN Compendium.

Bert graduated from the University of Amsterdam in 1981, where he studied adulteducation and community organisation. He previously worked forKZA, the predecessor of the Netherlands Institute for Southern Africa; the Environment Liaison Centre International in Nairobi, Kenya;and Friends of the Earth International.
