Miroslav Milinović (Vice-President Conferences)
Miroslav Milinović is the Vice-President of TERENA responsible for Conferences.
Miroslav has a BSc degree in mathematics from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics - Department of Mathematics, University of Zagreb and an MSc degree in computer science from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb.
Since 1987 he has been working at the University Computing Centre (Srce) of the University of Zagreb, where he is currently Assistant Director and Head of the Information Services and Applications Department. He has been working as an associate with CARNet. Currently, he is a project leader of the AAI@EduHr project, which has the main goal to establish the authentication and authorisation infrastructure for the academic and research community in Croatia. He has been leading several research projects in Srce such as Measuring Croatian Web Space (MWP) and the Web archiving project (DAMP/AMD).
He has been actively participating in activities carried out by TERENA. He was the editor of the fourth edition of the Guide to Network Resource Tools (GNRT) and today is active in TERENA's task force activities on middleware and mobility.
Miroslav is author of several scientific and technical papers, publications and courses in the field of information technology. He served as Programme Committee Chair of CARNet Users Conference from 1999 to 2005 and was a member of the Programme Committee for several TERENA Networking Conferences. He has been involved in the organisation of the EuroCAMPs.
