Andrew Cormack (Member for Security Area)
Andrew Cormack has been JANET(UK)'s Chief Regulatory Adviser, providing advice to the network and its customers on regulatory, policy and security issues, since 2002. Before that he managed the JANET-CERT and EuroCERT services.
He presents training courses on security for JANET(UK) and on incident response for TERENA's TRANSITS programme. He is also a regular speaker at national and international conferences.
Andrew is active in promoting international cooperation on security issues through TERENA task forces and as a member of the Permanent Stakeholders Group of the European Network and Information Security Agency.
He has degrees in Mathematics from Cambridge University and Law from the Open University in the United Kingdom.
