Joining TERENA

Organisations that wish to apply for membership of TERENA, should complete the pro-forma letter and send it to the TERENA Secretariat. This should include the names of your appointed representatives or observers. Applications should be submitted by postal mail, but fax or e-mail is acceptable if a confirmation is subsequently submitted by postal mail.

You should read the following documents before applying for membership:

• TERENA Statutes
  - The relevant articles for National Membership are Articles 4.1, 5 and 16.1.
  - The relevant articles for International Membership are Articles 4.1, 6, and 16.1.
  - The relevant articles for Associate Membership are Articles 4.2, 7.1, 16.1 and 16.2.

• TERENA's Current Activity Plan

Applications submitted twenty-eight days prior to a meeting of the TERENA General Assembly, may be dealt with at that meeting. More information about the TERENA General Assembly can be found here.
